A thoughtfully designed Montessori education for children ages 18 months through Middle School.
Atlas Academy is built around a simple idea: children learn best when their hand, heart, and mind are fully engaged in purposeful, meaningful work. When students are given the time, space, and responsibility to work deeply, learning becomes something they actively pursue rather than passively receive.
Our classrooms are carefully prepared environments designed to support this process. Each material, lesson, and expectation is chosen to help children develop independence, sustained concentration, and a clear sense of ownership over their work. Students are guided to make thoughtful choices, persist through challenges, and take pride in what they accomplish.
Over time, this leads to more than academic progress. Students build habits of focus, effort, and responsibility that extend beyond the classroom. They learn to manage their time, collaborate with others, and approach complex ideas with confidence and curiosity.
The result is a learning experience that is both rigorous and deeply personal—one that supports each child’s growth while preparing them for the demands of future academic work and meaningful, independent life.

Begin by visiting Atlas Academy through a tour or open house. This is an opportunity to experience our classrooms, observe students at work, and learn more about our Montessori approach and programs.
Families complete the online admissions application through our website. This step provides us with important background information and formally begins the admissions process.
Students spend time in the classroom to engage naturally with the environment, while parents meet with the Head of School to discuss goals, expectations, and alignment with our program.
Following the visit and review of application materials, families receive an admissions decision. We consider both program availability and alignment with our educational approach.
Families may apply for need-based financial aid through the FACTS program. Awards are determined based on demonstrated need and available funding within established ranges.
To secure enrollment, families sign the Enrollment Contract and submit a $500 non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward annual tuition and confirms the student’s place.
At Atlas Academy, enrollment is a thoughtful and intentional process. Our goal is not simply to fill seats, but to build a community of families who are aligned with our approach and committed to their child’s long-term growth.
Admissions decisions are based on both availability and alignment, including each child’s readiness for the environment and the overall balance of the classroom. We value open communication and strong partnership between school and home.
Atlas is designed as a multi-year experience, and students benefit most from continuity over time. Financial aid is available through a structured process to support accessibility while maintaining the integrity of the program.
